After two full months away from training while recovering from surgery, Loïc is finally back where he loves — at the dojo.

The road to recovery required patience, discipline, and resilience. Watching from the sidelines was not easy for a young athlete with big dreams. But true to his character, Loïc approached his healing the same way he approaches competition: with determination and quiet strength.

Now, he is back to training and preparing for the Provincial Tournament this April — the first important step on his path back to the World Championships.

Loïc is determined to return to the World Championships in Spain this October to defend his title as World Champion in Chinese Forms. But his goals don’t stop there. He is working hard to rise even higher in traditional kata and point sparring, pushing himself to grow not just as a competitor, but as a complete martial artist.

This year’s dream, however, comes with greater challenges. Competing in Spain is significantly more demanding financially than last year’s championship. International travel, accommodations, competition fees, and training expenses quickly add up — making this journey much heavier for his family to carry alone.

Yet Loïc believes that dreams are built together.

If you feel called to support his journey and help him take the next step toward Spain, you can contribute through his GoFundMe page:

Every gesture of support brings him one step closer to the world stage once again.

Thank you for being part of his journey. 🥋✨
