A glimpse of the journey… From my brown belt path: a taste of nationals and the joy of being a World Champion. This season wasn’t easy — surgery meant fewer tournaments, but I never gave up. I kept training and pushing forward. After last week’s belt grading, I’m proud to say: Brown–black belt… check! Next goals: Spain World Championships  &  Black Belt. The journey continues!

The journey to the Provincial Championships is officially on! This year, Loïc has set bold new goals. He’s working to represent Canada in Spain — not only to defend his World Champion title in Chinese Form and climb to first place in point sparring, but also to qualify in Traditional and Hardstyle Kata. Loïc has a natural love for helping others. At school, he is part of the stewardship course, where he learns that true leadership means serving the community. He enjoys offering a helping hand to classmates and younger students, even after school hours. This same virtue is important in martial arts.
