It Takes a Village

The last two days have been absolutely incredible for Loïc. As the excitement of competition grows, so does the support surrounding him. His amazing trainers have continued to stand right by his side, helping him feel prepared and confident for the big moments ahead.

Both Sensei Robbie and Sensei Rose took time to train with Loïc before his events, a gift that meant more than words can say. Those final practices didn’t just sharpen his skills… they strengthened his courage.

It takes a village to raise a child and it also takes love, empathy, and gentleness to lift up a young athlete’s spirit. After facing a discouraging experience at another dojo, Loïc slowly rebuilt his confidence thanks to the dedication and care of the senseis working with him.

He looks up to Sensei Robbie in a very special way: a living example that size doesn’t define strength, and that heart, perseverance, and belief make a true champion. Sensei Robbie helped Loïc believe in himself again… and that belief is what he’s now bringing onto the world stage.
